Dancing Naked In Dixie

Travel writer Julia Sullivan lives life in fast-forward, but too many mishaps and missed deadlines have Julia on the verge of being fired. With a stern warning, and unemployment looming, she's offered one last chance to rescue her career. Julia embarks on an unlikely journey to the ‘Heart of Dixie’—Eufaula, Alabama. She arrives, soon charmed by the lovely city and her handsome host, but her stay is marred by a shocking discovery.

Dancing Naked in Dixie is a fun read that instantly draws the reader into the story. It's smart and sassy fish out of water story of a New Yorker's visit to the South. Julie is quirky and engaging character. I enjoyed following her journey.

If you enjoy Southern fiction this is a book you'll really like. Dancing Naked in Dixie is like a vacation in a book. The perfect book to to curl up with on a lazy weekend.

The Lady is a Tramp

We are pleased to announce that - The Lady Is A Tramp - Odessa's latest 50 Flavors of Freak edition is now available and it's only .99 cents. This book won't be going free since it's not in Amazon Select. It's also available at Smashwords in every format and All Romance EBooks in .pdf, .mobi, and .epub versions.

In this erotic short story Odessa takes us back in time to January 1963 on a trip to New York with Roger. The eighteen year old witch is overwhelmed by the Big Apple. Especially when Roger takes her to the underground burlesque club owned by his high school sweetheart. Odessa really doesn't know what to make of Katie, a former ballerina turned burlesque dancer. The woman is terribly intimating, towering over 5'10 Odessa, with severe dark curly hair, the reddest red lipstick, and large breasts that she's not shy about flaunting. Katie is sex in stilettos and Odessa is terrified that this other older woman is out to win back her man.

If that's not bad enough, Graham also drops by and puts Odessa in a bit of a predicament. She only meant to sleep with him once just to spite Roger, but things got out of hand when they clicked between the sheets. If Roger finds out Odessa could lose her house, her car, and the cushy existence she's enjoyed as a kept woman of the world champion.

To throw in another triangle, Katie has always been Graham's favorite fuck when he's in New York. An afternoon encounter with Graham and Katie and a bottle of Absinthe leaves Odessa questioning her feelings for both Graham and Roger.

The suave world champion is also having a bit of an identity crisis. He's not getting any younger and his days are numbered with holding onto the strap, and possibly Odessa as well.

Got A Bad Desire

After giving much consideration I've decided to pull two of the titles in my Ring Dreams series. I plan on breaking Headlocks & Hexes down into two more in depth stories to break the Dalton brothers stories into two separate books - Vexed and Hexed.

I also decided to go with a new cover for Desire. I think it gives a better feel for the book with Lizzie on the cover with the candle she received as a mysterious give from Odessa.

Desire is the story of how Billy Dalton met the love of his life Elizabeth (Lizzie) Dalton. It's set in the Carolinas in the 1970s when pro wrestling was a huge draw in this area. Lizzie's father Paul Bryson is the territory's top star and he's not about to let his only daughter hook up with Billy Dalton.

In this era the wrestlers went to great lengths to keep their wives and daughters away from the wrestling business. A lot of the wrestlers led a double life with mistresses and girlfriends on the road. Paul Bryson was notorious among the ring rats (groupies) and the boys (his fellow wrestlers) for his womanizing.

With his dark haired good looks and Texas charm, Billy Dalton was an instant sensation with the female fans. Paul sees a lot of himself in a young Billy and decides to take him under his wing to mentor and groom him to someday take over his spot as the territory's lead babyface (good guy fan favorite). At least until Billy falls for pampered and protected Lizzie.

Lizzie loves her daddy, but she's determined to strike out on her own and make a life with Billy. Along the way she meets her best friend Elena, a jaded ring rat who has every intention of smartening her up to what really goes on when the wrestlers are on the road.

Desire is a coming of age love story where Lizzie has to come to terms with her father's double life and decide if she can handle spending the rest of her life with a man very much like her father.

The Good Sister by London Saint James

I'm pleased to have London St. James back with us today to tell us about her latest release The Good Sister:

The Good Sister is book one of a two-book erotic contemporary series, and has been a labor of love to write.

The Good Sister Blurb:

Trinity Lane Winslow feared everything and lived her life vicariously through others. She dreamed of the impossible, yearning to be the kind of woman men desired—especially Reid Addison.

Reid Addison feared nothing, except how the mousey little blonde daughter of his housekeeper made him feel.  Even though Trinity Winslow wasn’t his type, there was something intriguing about her.

Lord Ashton Archer lived a fairy tale life with property all over the world, was heir to a ducal dynasty, and had women fawning all over him. Anything a man could want, he obtained by the snap of his fingers.

By a twist of fate the three of them find their way into the same illicit world of the infamous Madam Jacqueline Claudette Rousseau. But will they find what each of them truly desires? Or will they always long for the forbidden?

**Warning** The Good Sister contains, voyeurism, bondage, rough sex, anal sex, and conversations about rape.

I love to hear from my readers.

Blue Straggler by Kathy Lynn Harris

A blue straggler is a star that has an anomalous blue color and appears to be disconnected from those stars that surround it.

But this is not a story about astronomy.

Bailey Miller is "disconnected" from the cluster of her rural south Texas family. She has never quite fit in and now in her early 30s, she finds herself struggling with inner turmoil and a series of bad choices in her life.

"... The characters made me laugh, cry, and wish that the story went on forever."

Bailey's drinking too much (even for a member of her family), has a penchant to eat spoonfuls of Cool Whip, works in a job that bores her beyond description and can't keep a relationship longer than it takes for milk to expire in her fridge.

Even with the help of her two outspoken friends, Texas lass Idamarie and her quirky college pal Rudy, she's having a hard time.

"... every single Texas reference Kathy Lynn Harris made was so descriptive that I knew exactly what she was talking about. I felt as if I was living the story."

So she packs up her Honda and heads out of Texas in search of herself and answers to secrets from her great-grandmother's past. The novel takes readers on a journey from San Antonio, Texas, to a small mountain town in Colorado and back again, as Bailey uncovers not only the secrets of her great-grandmother's life, but also some painful secrets of her own. All while finding love along the way.

"... both thoughtful and laugh-out-loud funny! I also hope that the author is working on a sequel."

"... I laughed till I cried, then cried till I laughed. This is one I will read over and over again."

If you have ever wondered why you got stuck with the family you did, what you are doing with your job and your life, or had a sudden desire to run off to the mountains, sit back and join Bailey for this laugh-out-loud, yet poignant ride.

"... Ms. Harris ⚊ I'm ready for the next installment!"

About the Author:
Kathy grew up in rural South Texas — and comes from people who work hard, love the land and know how to have a good time on a Saturday night. As a writer, Kathy was lucky to have been surrounded by exceptional characters throughout her life, many of whom have lived their lives exactly the way they wanted. The rest of the world could take `em or leave `em! Inspiring, to say the least.
In 2001, Kathy made the move from Texas to the Colorado Rockies to  focus on her writing and soak up All Things Mountain.

By day, she works for a relationship marketing agency. By night, she lives in an authentic log cabin near the southernmost glacier in North America, at 10,500 feet above sea level, with her husband and son, plus two fairly untrainable golden retriever mixes.

Mountain lions, bears, foxes, coyotes and other high-country animals are her neighbors, and she wouldn’t have it any other way. It is there that she writes — Kathy has completed two novels and three children’s books. She has also published hundreds of magazine articles, poetry, short fiction and essays. Her work has appeared in numerous published anthologies. Blue Straggler is her debut novel.

Friday Freebie

Odessa wants me to remind everyone that the first volume of her 50 Flavors of Freak erotic short story collection - Under My Skin - is free today on Amazon.

This story was channeled to me by my spirit guide (don't call her a ghost - it pisses her off) and is for the most part an accurate account of things that occurred in her previous life time with her two lovers "Roger" and "Graham". Their names are changed to protect their identities, but they both were once very real men.

This story does involve some light bondage, anal sex, strawberries, and of course snakes. It wouldn't be Odessa if there were no snakes involved.

We are hard at work on the second story The Lady Is A Tramp and hope to have it ready by next weekend. In this story we go way back in time to one of Odessa's first visits to New York City. There's plenty of both Roger and Graham and we introduce Katie. This new character just happens to be me in my previous lifetime. And oh yeah, even in the Big Apple, I can assure you that snakes will be involved.

Odessa also wants me to remind you that you don't need an ereader to download books from Kindle. You can install the reader app for free on an computer, iPad, iPhone, tablet or android device. Don't even ask me how she's gotten so technically savvy. She also blogging over at www.witchlitchick.com if you'd like to drop by and tell her hello. She loves comments and attention.

My favorite novel in my Ring Dreams series - Spell Struck - is half price this weekend at AllRomanceEbooks. You can download it in .pdf, .epub, or .mobi formats. Courtney is my favorite character because she's pretty much my inner bitch. She's got a hot new boy toy in Alex Kafelnikov and as always Billy Dalton is always honing in on the action. Odessa does make an appearance, sans snakes. There's lots of hot sex and some fun paranormal twists as Courtney and Bryson begin to realize their little girl Tabitha might just be the most powerful DeFliehr witch ever.

He seeks out Katarina, intending only to scotch the scandal, but instead finds his heart ensnared.

WARNING: A blade-wielding heroine who crosses swords with a master of sensuality.

Author Bio:
Jenna Jaxon is a multi-published author of historical  and contemporary romance who has been reading and writing historical romance since she was a teenager.  A romantic herself, Jenna has always loved a dark side to the genre, a twist, suspense, a surprise.  She tries to incorporate all of these elements into her own writing.

Jenna lives in Virginia with her family and a small menagerie of pets.  When not reading or writing, she indulges her passion for the theatre, working with local theatres as a director.  She often feels she is directing her characters on their own private stage.

She has equated her writing to an addiction to chocolate because once she starts she just can’t stop.

Excerpt:

“I assure you, there was never a night like that before.” Lord Dalbury spoke quietly, and Katarina sensed a tension in him. “I had never done such a thing before. Never participated in such an auction. Never tried to take a woman unwillingly to my bed.” He stopped speaking. Just stopped. Then his breath hissed as though he’d slowly released it.

“I cannot find the words to tell you how deeply I regret I was not a better man that night.” He paused, and she held still and waited. “What I tried to do was madness, without thought, without honor. I do not even have an excuse other than my base desires, and that your abundant charms overwhelmed me.” His face was shadowy in the scarce light of the sickle moon, but he sounded contrite. “I have no right to ask for your forgiveness. I have no right to expect it. But I would ask you to allow me to attempt to remedy the situation.”

Kat shook her head slowly. “What on earth do you believe you could do, Lord Dalbury, that could even come close to a remedy for the terror and humiliation you put me through? Do you think now that I have met you, heard your feeble attempts at an apology, and rejected them, the memory of that night will magically disappear?” She fought to control her anger, though she yearned to blast him with it. “What magic potion would you have me take that would erase the memory of you pinning me to the bed? Because if you have such an elixir, then yes, I will gladly take it from you and obliterate you absolutely and irrevocably.”

He stood silent at her words, then said simply, “I have only myself to offer, my lady.”

“You would have me kill you, my lord? In that, too, I agree I would oblige you, but not at the cost of my own life. I understand the English law punishes those who do murder quite severely.” Kat was astonished when he lurched backward, as from a blow.

“No, my lady, I would not have you kill me,” he said, sounding grimly amused. “Though indeed that would probably give you most satisfaction. I meant I would have you marry me.”

His words surprised a laugh out of her. “Marry you?” The laughter grew. “I see, my lord, you think me both a whore and a fool.”

“I think you are neither, Lady Katarina.”

“Then you are the fool to believe I would put such a man as you in control of every aspect of my life.” That he thought she would even entertain the suggestion was insulting.

The pale moonlight shadowed his face, but she could read displeasure there just the same. “You judge me solely on one act that, I assure you, was grossly out of character for me. You cannot possibly know what kind of husband I would be.”

“And never will, Lord Dalbury. I can swear to you that I would not marry you if I were in Hell and you were my only hope of Heaven.”

He inclined his head toward her, a faint smile touching his lips. “I believe you made a similar claim about dancing with me, Lady Katarina. Yet we have indeed enjoyed a dance together despite your words.” His tone was soft, the sensuous, cajoling one he had used to seduce her that night in the House of Pleasure.

Kat trembled, recalling the incredible sensations of his hands, his mouth on her body. Damn. He could not do this to her again. Not just with his voice.

“Is there nothing that would entice you to leave your Hell for my Heaven?”

She struggled to answer, opened her lips to deny it, only to find her mouth completely sealed by his.
